Munich, 14 January 2008: BAVARIA Industriekapital AG closed the acquisition of Elcoteq Communications Technology GmbH in Offenburg, Germany, with the approval of the Federal Cartel Office. Elcoteq's revenues in 2007 were approximately EUR 120 million. The company produces communication technology systems for customers such as Motorola and Ericsson. Seller is the Finnish Elcoteq Group, the largest European electronics manufacturing services company. The parties also signed an agreement to ensure the further supply of key components to Elcoteq group.

Elcoteq SE is a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company with original design manufacturing (ODM) capabilities in the communications technology industry.
