Amsterdam, Netherlands, Dec 28, 2007 - (Hugin via ABN Newswire) - The Supervisory Board of Draka Holding N.V. announces that Mr. Ingolf Schulz, member of the Board of Management and responsible for Draka's Triple S program, will step down from the Board of Management with effect from 31 December 2007. He will continue to advise the Board of Management with regards to the Triple S program. Mr. Schulz has joined Draka in 1997 and became member of the Board of Management in September 2004.

Draka announces that it has finalized the purchase of Alcatel-Lucent's interest (49.9%) in Draka Comteq B.V. against payment of an aggregate cash purchase price of € 209 million. As a result of this transaction, Draka has now full ownership of Draka Comteq B.V.
