STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov 30, 2007 - (Hugin via ABN Newswire) - B&B TOOLS has acquired 30 per cent of the shares in AB Knut Sehlins Industrivaruhus ("Sehlins"), one of the largest industrial resellers in Örnsköldsvik. In connection with the acquisition, B&B TOOLS' subsidiary Bäcklunds Bygg- & Industrihandel AB ("Bäcklunds") has sold its industrial reseller business in Örnsköldsvik to Sehlins through a conveyance of assets and liabilities. The combined operations will have annual revenues of approximately MSEK 60 and 26 employees.
Sehlins is one of the leading suppliers of tools, fastening elements and other industrial consumables to industry in Örnsköldsvik and the surrounding areas. Sehlins has annual revenues of approximately MSEK 45 and 21 employees. Sehlins is an existing partner in the TOOLS industrial reseller chain. The Bäcklunds industrial reseller business in Örnsköldsvik - with leading-edge competence in lifting and cutting tools - has annual revenues of MSEK 15 and five employees.
