The Group was formed in connection with the merger of America Online, Inc and Time Warner Inc on January 11, 2001. The Group's brands and copyrights include Internet services, Web properties, Moviefone and MapQuest, instant messaging services and AOL music properties, and trademarks such as Looney Tunes characters, Batman and The Flintstones. Interactive services accounted for 22% of 2001 revenues; Filmed entertainment, 21%; Cable, 18%; Networks, 17%; Publishing, 12% & Music, 10%.
