The Earth and Environmental division is an international environmental and engineering consulting organization. On October 6, 2008, the Company announced the sale of the UKWind Development businesses, other than its interest in the Lewis development. In June 2008, it acquired Geomatrix Consultants, Inc. In November 2008, the Company acquired OEST Associates, Inc. In June 2009, it acquired Arcas Consulting Archeologists Limited.
