Sample processing from Image Resources' (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) recent drilling programme on the Atlas deposit at Cooljarloo (Image 70%) is now complete. Detailed geological interpretation and resource estimation has now commenced and is expected to be completed by July. Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) is pleased to announce that another Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed on its North Perth Basin heavy minerals project. The objective of the MOU is to facilitate a review of Image's North Perth Basin HM project as a step towards the commercialisation of these assets.

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) significant enhancement of the Atlas resource with a 900m-long high-grade zone identified averaging more than 20% HM. A significant part of the new Atlas high-grade zone lies outside the existing resource model, indicating a likely increase in grade and contained HM when the resource is updated in the June quarter, drilling to test 45km of new targets at Gingin in progress.

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) An impressive 900m-long high-grade zone now identified at the Atlas resource, containing grades of more than 20% HM up to 140m wide and 6m thick. This open-ended high-grade zone is likely to significantly increase the contained heavy minerals (HM) in the resource when the Atlas model is updated.

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) has carried out infill aircore drilling on the Atlas resource to provide greater confidence in the grade and continuity of the mineralisation and to upgrade the status of the resource.

Image Resources NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) As reported in Image's December 2008 quarterly report, an infill aircore drilling programme has been carried out on the southern extent of the Atlas resource at Cooljarloo (Image 70%) with the aim of closing the drill spacing to 200m x 20m to provide greater confidence in the grade and continuity of the mineralisation and to upgrade the status of the resources

Image Resource NL (ASX:IMA)(PINK:IMREF) Results from the remaining 80% of the samples taken from first-pass aircore drilling at Image Resources' 100%-owned Serpentine Lakes during the September 2008 quarter have now been received. The 466sq km Serpentine Lakes project is situated along strike from the zircon-rich 1.8Mt Cyclone prospect. The Image drilling was aimed at strike extensions of the Cyclone mineralisation and testing of other targets on the Barton paleo-shoreline.
