Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) The Board of Kitron ASA has resolved the following dates for interim results presentations and General meeting in 2009:

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) It is our pleasure to announce that Roger Hovland will join Kitron ASA as Sales & Marketing Director. Roger is 42 years old and is currently Senior Vice President in Höegh Autoliners AS with responsibility for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Oceania. Roger Hovland has, among others, extensive experience in Commercial strategies, Business, Marketing as well as Supply Chain Management. Roger has been in Höegh since 2002.

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) Phadia develops, manufactures and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. For a new generation of analysis instruments Kitron is the chosen partner.

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) Revenue amounted to NOK 483.7 million in the third quarter of 2008, representing 24 per cent increase over the same period in 2007. Profit before tax was NOK 29.3 million, which was more than three times the result in third quarter in 2007 (NOK 8.7 million). Order intake increased by 52 per cent compared to third quarter 2007.

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) Following the decision to transfer manufacturing of a major customer to a low-cost alternative it has been decided to adjust capacity at Kitrons site in Karlskoga. The notice involves 50 employees with full effect from 1 September, 2009. Kitron has requested to start negotiations with the Works Council.

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) On 23 October 2008 Kitron published preliminary revenue of about NOK 480 million and EBT of about NOK 29 million for the third quarter of 2008.

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) Kitron continues to deliver a strong performance as a result of a strong order backlog trend and the implementation of productivity enhancing measures.

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) Kitron ASA's subsidiary UAB Kitron in Kaunas, Lithuania, has received new orders within the Marine segment of NOK 90 million for first half 2009. Deliveries of the new orders will take place during first half 2009.

Kitron ASA (OSL:KIT) Kitron AS, a subsidiary of Kitron ASA, has received new orders from KDA amounting to NOK 40 million. The products will be delivered in the first and second quarter 2009 and are part of KDA's weapon control system PROTECTOR. Kitron will deliver products for this system to a total value of about NOK 113 million in 2008 and expect continued growth in 2009.
