日企與必和必拓(ASX:BHP)投資56億美元提高西澳鐵礦石產量

日本三井集團(TYO:8031)昨天說，必和必拓(BHP Billiton)(ASX:BHP)、伊藤忠(TYO:8001)以及三井將投資56億美元提高他們的澳大利亞合資公司鐵礦石產量。除此之外，該筆投資還將用於升級基礎設施，增強西澳Hedland港的貨物裝卸能力。三家公司認為中國和其他新興市場的鋼鐵生產預期保持增長，中期到長期鐵礦石需求保持強勁。
