Alternate Director Appointment of Mr Craig Michael

ASX:BLK) are pleased to advise that Mr Craig Michael has been appointed as an Alternate Director for Mr Joseph Gutnick. Mr Gutnick was recently appointed as Non-executive Chairman of the Company as detailed in an ASX announcement on 19 February 2013.
Mr Michael has been Executive General Manager of Legend International Holdings, Inc. ("Legend"), from September 2007 to April 2012 and is now Chief Executive Officer of Paradise Phosphate Limited ("Paradise"), a 100% subsidiary of Legend. Since 2007 Mr Michael has led the team that has undertaken the exploration and development of the projects held by Legend and Paradise. He has over 12 year's experience as a geology professional in the mining and resources industry. Mr Michael has previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer, and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Aurum, Inc., a gold and copper explorer in Laos, and is Executive Director of North Australian Diamonds Limited, a diamond exploration and development company. In the past five years, he has also been a Director of Quantum Resources Limited, Top End Uranium Ltd and Electrum International, Inc. In previous roles he was employed by Oxiana Ltd where he was based in Laos both as a Mine Geologist and Resource Geologist at the Sepon Copper Gold Project.
Prior to his time with Oxiana, he was a Mine Geologist at Sons of Gwalia's Carosue Dam Gold Project in Western Australia where he also conducted his first class honours thesis. Mr Michael is a Member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree from Monash University.
