Beach Petroleum Operated Cooper / Eromanga Exploration
Murninnie-1 (PEL 92, Beach 75%), has been plugged and abandoned. The Ensign 30 rig is being moved to the Chiton-1 well location in adjacent Licence PEL 91. Chiton-1 is expected to spud on 8 August. Participants in Chiton-1 are Beach Petroleum Ltd, 40% and Drillsearch Energy Ltd, 60%.
Cooper/Eromanga Oil Exploration and Development - Santos Operated
In areas operated by Santos, Charo-4 (Beach 20.21%) has been plugged and abandoned.
Arrowie Basin (South Australia) - Paralana-2 Geothermal Exploration Well
The Paralana-2 geothermal exploration well (Beach earning 21%) is at a depth of 1116 metres. Casing has been installed to section TD. The current operation is installing blowout preventers prior to drilling ahead.
Browse Basin, Offshore Western Australia - Burnside 1ST1 Gas Exploration Well
Burnside-1ST1 (Beach 7.34%) has reached total depth of 4182 metres. The current operation is continuing an evaluation of the primary reservoir objective.
Basker - Manta - Gummy (BMG) Oil Field Development - Gippsland Basin
Basker-7 (Beach 30%) is drilling ahead at a depth of 3920 metres.
